Deadline
for abstract submission: Extended

- The
abstract text should be no
more than 250 words and the
presenter/s should highlight
the main points that they wish
to communicate.
- Abstracts
must be submitted in English,
along with the biographical
data form.
- The
abstract should include the
following sections:
- Background
- Purpose
- Methods
- Conclusion
/ Results
- Abstracts
can be submitted in the
following categories:
- Concurrent
Session: Presentations
should be 15 minutes in
length and with 5 minutes
for discussion.
- Poster:
A visual presentation for
display on a poster board.
- Abstracts
are to be submitted
electronically by email to info@infomedevents.ae
- Applicants
will be notified if their
abstract has been accepted.
- If
your abstract is accepted, you
must register for the
conference. Accepted abstracts
will be eliminated from the
program on this date if
registration has not been
received.
Poster
Presentation Guidelines
- Please
include poster title, author(s)’
name(s) and affiliation(s) in
large letters centered at the
top of the page.
- Posters
are submitted by e-mail: info@infomedevents.ae.
- Contact
information should be placed
in the top right corner of the
poster, as indicated below.
- The
poster should be clearly
structured and include the
following sections:
- Background
- Purpose
- Methods
- Results
- Conclusion(s)
- Poster
boards should be .80
meters x 2 meters. The poster
boards should be double sided,
pushpin compatible. It is
recommended that each poster
presenter bring enough
pushpins to mount their
poster.
- The
written text and all
illustrations should be
prepared beforehand. Charts,
drawings, pictures, and graphs
can be assembled on the poster
of the appropriate size or
assembled in sections or
pieces on the panel.
- The
written text should be
sufficiently large to allow
easy reading from a distance
of approximately 6.5 feet (2
meters). Double-space all
text, using left-justified
paragraph format. The section
headings should be in Courier
font type, boldface, 36 point
font size. The text within the
sections should be in Courier
font type, 24 point font size.
