Paul Cosyns is professor of psychiatry at the University of Antwerp and chairman of the University Forensic Centre. He is the founder of several suicide prevention programs in Belgium . The University Forensic Centre is an outpatient research and treatment centre for sex offenders and a centre for psychiatric expertises for the courts. He is founding member of the Collaborative Antwerp Research Institute and member of the Belgian Consultative Committee for Bio-ethics.

Vladimir Carli, M.D., Ph.D. is a research fellow in Psychiatry at the University of Molise in Campobasso , Italy . He is involved in research on Self-destructive behaviours from over ten years and performed several publications and presentations on the topic. Is member of the International Association for Suicide Prevention, is member of the WPA Section on Suicidology of the WPA and is Secretary of the Section on Suicidology and Suicide Prevention of the Association of European Psychiatrists.

 

Abdel-Sattar Ibrahim, Ph.D., ABMPP, AABMCP

More than 35 years of Academic practice  as a profess or, writer, editor, and supervisor of many Ph.D's theses in psychology and psychiatric departments in a number of major universities in Egypt , USA , and Saudi Arabia . Published many papers and books on cognitive-behavior therapy, depression, stress, and positive psychology (e.g., creativity, and personal happiness.) He has been involved 

for the last 40 years of his career in psychotherapy practice  with emphasis on cognitive behavioral approaches and positive psychology. He is also a Fellow of several American Boards in Psychotherapy and Medical Psychotherapy and Life Member of the APA.  Presently, he is in private practice and works as a consultant psychologist at the American University in Cairo

.

  Jean Pierre Kahn, MD, PhD is currently Head of the Department of Psychiatry and Clinical Psychology at University H. Poincaré in Nancy and Nancy University Medical Center , NANCY , France .

He was trained in the universities of Nancy and Paris at La Salpétrière Hospital, where he graduated in psychiatry. He completed his scientific training in Paris VI and Oxford universities and with the Department of Biological Psychiatry at the National Institutes of Mental Health, Bethesda , Md , USA , where he was a Fogarty Fellow. His major fields of interests are eating disorders, addiction and mood disorders (bipolar disorder and suicide). He belongs to the WPA section on suicidology.

 Suad Al Marzooqi, Ph.D. is an Assistant professor, Department of Psychology at UAE University .  She published scientific papers in the field of clinical psychology; in child abuse and psychological disorder. She practices as a clinical psychologist previously in Awladona Center and currently in Sikologia Consultancy and training. 

  Véronique Narboni studied Medicine in Montpellier, France where she graduates in 1991 as a General practitioner. She was a Guest Researcher at the Karolinska Institute in Stockholm , in the National Swedish and Stockholm county Centre founded in 1993 by Professor Danuta Wasserman. During this period she collaborated in the development of the WHO project SUPRE and more specifically the leaflet on “Preventing suicide: a resource for school teachers and other school staff”. After having worked on the impact of educational programmes on the attitudes and behaviour of general practitioners, with regard to suicide prevention, she is now working in an International Communication agency located in Paris .

Parviz Partovi-Tabar MD MRC Psych DPM is a General Adult and Rehabilitation Psychiatrist who was Registrar to the late Dr William Sargent and Senior Registrar at St Thomas ’ Hospital.  Professor of Psychiatry at the National University of Iran between 1973 – 1993.  His subspeciality is in Rehabilitation Psychiatry and he was Consultantin charge of National Demonstration Centre for Rehabilitation from July 1993 until September 1995.  Prof Partovi is current Consultant General Adult Psychaitrist responsible for Reading Northwest locality at Berkshire Healthcare NHS Trust.  Prof Partovi has a special interest in Mood and Anxiety Disorder, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Bipolar Affective Disorder and Schizophrenia, Drug and Alcohol Abuse, Forensic and Medico-legal work.

Francoise Riquier

As a psychiatrist and psychotherapist specialized in cognitive behavioral therapy, He was responsible for the outpatient service for anxiety and mood disorders at the University Department of Adult Psychiatry in Lausanne . Currently, as well as doing private practice in adult psychiatry, he is a consultant at the University Department of Pedopsychiatry in Lausanne . As a member of the Afforthecc (Association Francophone de Formation et de Recherche en Therapies Comportementales et Cognitives) he teaches cognitive and behavioral therapy methods.

Sami Paul TAWIL MD
Is Professor at The Medical College of Paris, Head of an inpatient department of  Psychiatry at the University  Hospital  of Saint Antoine in Paris , and he  teaches Psychiatry at Pierre and Marie Curie University .
He released more than 125 papers on psychiatry in the French and the international literature  in this field.  He also published 4 books :"Anxiety and Anticipation", "Chronicity and mental Illness", "Psychiatry:2000 years of History" ,"The two faces of bipolarity".

Feisal A. Yunis, CPsychol., Ph.D., Professor of Psychology, Cairo University , Cairo , Egypt .

Research interests: Mental health, drug abuse, Proneness to schizophrenia, and Social psychological problems.

General interests: Professional ethics, Quality Assurance in Education, and Psychology and Health
